Technical Specifications

A T-1 (1.5Mbps) leased-line connection from the customer premises to the Data Center. Eight IP addresses are allocated to the customer by default, more addresses are available upon request. An IP allocation justification form may be required and additional costs may be incurred, depending upon the additional IP allocation requested. All IP traffic is routed on our multi-homed, multi-gigabit backbone network, ensuring low-latency and fault tolerance.

What other services are required to make this work?

A T-1 router is required for this application. This router will be located at the customer premises and will connect your network (LAN) to the Internet. You may purchase a router - from BugRoom or a hardware vendor - or you may lease one from us for $75/month. Leased (managed) routers will be pre-configured by BugRoom technicians and shipped to you prior to T-1 installation. All managed routers are covered by our TCare one-hour Emergency Spare service. If your router fails for any reason, we will have one available and configured for you at our NOC within one hour of your request.
